Text-to-speech uses the Message Reader application which is built into compatible Series 60 mobile phones. The service is available only for selected phones where the application is preinstalled

hm installed german version on my e61. cant find the icon :/ so this means it is not compatible as you mentioned?

I found sth about compatibility only with N70&N90… I’ve got E70 ;(

is it compatible on n95 8gb? will it play?

You must first install language package and then a voice. for example:
1. install Langeage package for German
2. install Voice package Nicole for German.
3. set your language and voice in phone.
MENU > Tools > Speech - change your language to German
- change voice to Nicole (if not changed automaticaly)
4. DONE…let’s try it
