The GPS functionality is the major addition to the N95 and marks a step forward for convergence. The onboard software is the key to this. The new Maps application allows you to browse around maps (which are downloaded onto your device over the air) in 2D or 3D and do route planning. The map coverage varies by country, but many places are covered down to street level. The software includes the ability to find addresses and location by street name, location and postcode. The onboard GPS allows you to jump to your current location and track yourself as you go.

    aamir, try mobilegmaps, its free and shows on the pre-loaded openstreetmap.com maps the main arteries of karachi. maps are not updated, e.g. karsaz flyover does not exist.

    just download google maps on your n95 and get a GPRS connection
    thats it you are done

    well i’m N95 user and I love the N95 GPS feature well it’s have its own built in GPS and it’s have 3 months free Navigation on Map and You can use it’s internal GPS with tomtom and others applications just as Land Marking GPS data and Can get You Global Coordinates and can get distance from every place you want hmmmmmmmmmmmmsss I like it it’s bit slow but if you want to make it fast You can down load tomtom Packege and it’s have a another software “GPSd” it’s make it faster and get you connect to satellite hmmsss enjoy if you need more info contact me [email protected]
