   It does not install, sofyware updater tells me that loses connection with phone and then asks me to take out and in battery and disconnect everything
   Any clues or suggestions?

   The same thing happened when I tried it. However, after disconnecting and connecting the phone twice, the update process was able to continue and completed successfully. You just need to be patient. The whole process of updating (after the download) took almost 40 mins instead of the 15 mins that is shown by Nokia Software Update.

   Hey guys, well i was very tense to update my software beause many time i had to change my battery, remove data cable and switch on the cell, but all time the same message ur phone is not connect remove your battery etc. Well yesterday i decided to update my software at any cost so i started to update. After half an hour my mobile automatically shut down. I unplug my data cable and then try to cell on but i was not working. I was very tense that what happened to my cell. I was trying to on it again n again but phone was dead. I was really abusing my self what i have did my phone. Then i again connect my data cable and then reload the updates. I was amazed to look at that it showed only 55 seconds remain to update.i was praying and then my phone automatically on and it says ur phone is updated then i restart my cell. In start phone was very slow and lazy.but after 2 or 3 restart my cell its working ok. But there is not difference i felt in my out version which was perhaps 20.1 something. I Advice to everybody to not update the software because there is no change in it and i think my old software was more faster then it.

    i also got the same problem and worried a lot..waited for four hours still the update was half way.my phone is dead and cant recover it..no one should ever update N82….

    Agree with Benaldo, my N82 also went dead halfway updating. NEVER update or NEVER buy a Nokia phone again!!!!! Lousy company

    i’ve a problem in my nokia n82 that it did`t install the symbian software Migital smart guard i’m realy worried about this please tell me the solution of my problem…….
