Nokia E90 is getting a new software update v210.34.75. New firmware is coming with Flash Lite 3 and Flash Video Support (that means you can surf on YouTube without any problem)
QuickOffice 4.1.27.5 is also coming with this update. If you know more improvements, you can share them in comments

Upgraded mine to the new firmware (although had my problems with NSU & Vista, like everyone).
There’s two things I noticed: the phone’s amazingly fast now (the gallery and such), but the new FlashLite didn’t run youtube videos too well. Youtube tries to use the mobile version first, so you have to switch to the “desktop version”.
What I also noticed is that the WiFi seems to be messed up now.
90% of the time I can’t see my wireless AP, but if I keep trying again and again, at some point it’ll show up for a few seconds (I tried this with other AP’s aswell).
Oh well, kinda wish I hadn’t upgraded.
It would be great to run Flash Lite 3 on N73 too.
Being an old Nokia user I did not expect the upgrade to handle mail accounts and messages ok. And no difference this time..
Mail settings, sms messages lost was not restored and the error message during restore was just error. (For all of you who ever take part in software development please make error messages that help the user or get lost!!!)
Fortunately i have only IMAP mail accounts so all mails will be at the mail server. Have to restore mail accounts manually and figure out how if text messages can be restored manually.
Ok, I can confirm that this upgrade breaks functionality when flashed/installed from Windows Vista.
Nokia Software Updater (mainly the cable driver) doesn’t work (yet) with Windows Vista.
I reflashed my E90 while running on XP, and now everything works as it’s supposed to.
I have just tried to download the latest E90 software and the Nokia tool says I am already on the latest version 7.x.y.z What happened to this 210.x.y.z update?
hi, just wanted to knw, is ther any software from which i can syronise my E90 phone to my outlook, so i can stor all my email on my phone.
i tried but it only work for contact & calander but no email.
pls advie, also advice how is the new software updater, does it really help for business..

since y update to version 210xxx y have only problems with the fone (e90-1) starting with the turn on of the device (~5 min) sistem erors and the fone work verry slow , y kant instal anny programs ( file corupted ) and many more ( pls help me to fix it !!! ) if the fone work ok do not instal any pudates!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would like to buy the E90 and im not font of the fact that i can not copy and paste from the internet. also if i buy it, i am in the united states and it is very expensive here. is it worth is?
Eugene, I bought the E90 about a year ago after my Sony P910 got busted. I know there are a lot of E90 fans but for me it was a terrible disappointment. The contacts and email functionality (working with contacts) doesn’t come even close to the P910. Internet browsing implementation is horrible. The synchronization application is awful (I never got it to work with Outlook properly). The unit is very, very bulky and I wasn’t able to find a belt-holster for it (I looked in 5 or 6 countries). So, this almost 1 lb unit has ruined several packets in my trousers. I naturally miss the active screen very much but, leaving that feature out, I think that the software programming is just terrible. Is it worth the 1 grand I spent on it? No. Should I have known everything I know about it - I wouldn’t pay 300 bucks.

* Outlook syncing - works like a charm, no problems at all. Contacts work fine, but I don’t sync email. IMap would probably work, I’m guessing
* Internet browsing - viewing pages works better than any other phone I’ve seen, bar perhaps the IPhone which I have seen but haven’t played with.
* Bulkiness - what do you expect from a device with a full keyboard and 800 wide screen? Sure, they could probably fit 800 pixels into 1 inch, but you would need to carry a magnifying glass to read the page.
* Belt holster? Come on.. does that go next to your comb holster
Can the upgrade be performed while phone is used as modem to connect to internet? I don’t have any other connection
