I’ve trying to install the new update throught the Nokia Software Update, but it fails. I lucky could remove batery and recover my phone. Anybody else is getting the same problem?

Edit: I´ve just updated. I think that the previous error was caused because of the no restarting the pc after install NSU before trying to updat the phone. I’ll write here my next impresions, but I advise that I bought the phone just yesterday, so I won´t be able to tell yoy much differnces between both versions of symbian, because I don’t know very much about v3 and now that I’ve updated to v4 I won´t know anything more about v3… so I think it´s better you make me questions and then I will answer if it´s possible, if you agree.

If it’s not available to you, it’s probably because it’s not available to your product code (PC).
I’ve checked the PC 0548145 (Brazil) and the latest version available is 2.0633.65.01. Usually it takes 1,5-2 months to be available.
To check the version available, turn off the phone, remove the battery, take note of the product code and put it in this page:
http://europe.nokia.com/A4577224
(go to the end of the page).

I have just updated my set. I cannot feel any difference, altough I have not checked it yet.
Lastly my phone has some trouble of not dialling sometimes. I don’t know how the issue arises and to resolve it, I have to restart my phone.
I hope this bug is now fixed, but for that I need to see changelog.

I tink,the v3 firmwire never reached here. And the v4??

This update only block cracked apps,this changelog is fake.
All smartphones of nokia is receiving updates this month,all updates block the cracked apps and no add corrections of bugs and improve good thigs.

I update my e65 on friday from v. 3.6 to the latest 4.6.
Feels smoother, but i have a problem: my battary runs out after 10/12 hours, when before update it lastest 4/5 days.
Is some else having the same problem? Any work around?

The updater resets the display > light sensor to default value.I’m not sure, but you can try keeping it in minimum.It might improve the battery life.

Turkey in Istanbul. my telephone is a e65. it is telephone turkey vodofone operator problem. operator is problem bigger. this telephone screen saver mode is then after vodafone not found! telephone is a reset işt is a no problem… but 3-5 minutes then after operator not found!… please help. +90 532 506 62 30 ım sorry. very sorry.

i’ve used the E65.. found it really rubbish.. it will not update to ver:4..
keeps coming up “insert sim”.. can not connect via bluetooth.. and data cable keeps ‘dropping out’..
all in all the worst phone nokia have made i think…..
