I Found this photo at mobile-review forum pages. Screensaver will look like this;

You have to Sign a Certificate;
I know, It’s very long to do but if you really need this program, You have to apply following instructions;
1) Get makekeys.exe and signsis.exe. These are included in the Series 60 SDK, available from Forum Nokia.
2) Create a key file using this command:
makekeys -cert -password mypassword -dname “CN=Joe Bloggs OU=Development OR=Acme Ltd CO=GB EM=[email protected]” mykey.key mycert.cer
(A passwordless key file can be created by leaving out the -password mypassword part.)
3) Create an account at symbiansigned.com and download the latest development certificate request tool.
4) Generate a certificate request file using the key file created earlier, for the IMEI of your phone. (The IMEI code can be found by entering *#06# on the phone.)
5) Submit the certificate request at symbiansigned.com and retrieve the developer certificate.
6) Sign the package using signsis:
signsis largetime-1.02-unsigned.sisx largetime.sisx myphone.cert mykey.key mypassword
7) The resulting file, largetime.sisx, is now ready to be installed on the phone.

It’s Free!

Is anybody doing this for an E61? If so can they post the finished program so some of us who are not as savvy as others can download it?
Thanks in advance,
Jeb
That wont work. You can only request a certificate for a limited number of IMEIs and that’s it. Or you have to pay for Symbian to certify it.
Anyway, this new screensaver is great. I always wondered what bionic super-vision Finn came up with the miniscule screensaver. It’s all but useless for anything but seeing if the phone is on.
I’ll be attempting to install this myself tonight.
Oh, and a “boo” for Symbian for clamping down on mobile development. There has never been what I would call a deluge of development for symbian, and this doesn’t help.
Booooo Symbian. Boooo!
I’ve been using this for a while now on my N73 and it’s great. It looks even better when you use it as Black with White digits!
Hmm. I signed the file and installed it, but the screensaver seems to have not changed. I’ll report back after more testing.
Looks great on my E61, far better and clearer than original. Well impressed.
Ok, you have to set the screensaver in the theme setup. There’s also a “settings” option available after you set the screensaver in the theme. It’s not exactly obvious
There’s also a screensaver that looks far better available. If you install the TY1Screensaver then drop the mbm file into c:\\data\\TY1…\\ it will use the new , nicer format.

There’s also a free clock screensaver provided by Nokia Hong Kong
http://www.nokia.com.hk/nokia/0,,98971,00.html
Shows times for two cities in Analog or Digital, with half a dozen predefined backgorunds.
can someone plase write better instructions step-by-step on how to do it because i’m not that tech savy but i want this screen saver!
for example:
1. Step 1 is not clear, which SDK? 2.0? 2.1?
2. Step 2 just sounds jewbrish to me.
3. Step 6 not very clear.
Can\’c2\’b4t install on N73, the screen says “certificate error, contact provider” WHY????
Din, the only step which isn’t absolutely clear to me is #1. Being at first unfamiliar with the SDKs I downloaded the Java SDK for S60v3, only to find that signsis.exe and makekeys.exe are included only with the C++ SDK. But it’s a lot of hassle (300 MB download) just to obtain those two exe’s — maybe you can google for the files. The rest should be self-explanatory once you get to it.
Cri — make sure you sign the .sis file with the correct certificate — i.e. the .cer file from symbiansigned.com, not from makekeys.exe (I made the same mistake).
I always wondered what bionic super-vision Finn came up with the miniscule screensaver.
The reason why the default screensaver is so small is because it minimizes power consumption.
why it wo9nt work on my n73………it says certificate error….what do i do?
Can anybody, please, help me with signing the screensaver?
hm, very weird: the screen saver doesn’t show up like the screen shot. I have a E60, but the large digits only fill up the space thats normally for the “small-screen saver-clock”. So I only see the upper-part of the digits
Anyone with the same problem?
Is there a website of the author of this program so I can contact him for this fix?
Keep getting message “Required Application Access not granted” just at the mid way point in the installation process after signing the sis file etc. and then installing it on the phone. Any idea what would cause that?
Same problem here. Any suggestions?
can anybody do it for my n73? my english is not so good, i can\’c2\’b4t follow the instructions. Please reply
Why isn’t anybody putting the signed version of this marvelous screensaver in this forum. I am also not able to sign it
Igor,I have the same problem on N80!!And I tried everything I could think of but no luck, nothing worked so I only see half of it!!
Pozdrav
Igor, I’ve found the solution!!You must choose NOT to turn off parts of screen from Large Time settings, cause it does that by default and you get only half the screensaver!!
Pozdrav
works great, thanks for the tip GEEK
Not supported in n73
It’s perfect and works great
I’ve got retinal problems and it’s a pleasure for my eyes.
I only can say THANK YOU !!!
I forgot, my phone it’s an E70… I chosen not to turn off parts of screen from Large Time settings.
i have not sisxin my n73
… and the symbiansigned registration is down. Whoopee. :-s
Thanx g33zer, the app is now signed and works great on my N73.
One thing I want to point out though, after I signed the app and then tried to install it using the phone’s installer I got a certificate error. But installing it using the pc’s pc-suite did the trick.

large digits - very GOOD
This programe seems to be awesome, however you need to sign it and this is not possible without a publisher id.
Can anybody help me and sign it?
Greetings from Germany
PS: Sorry for my poor English
can be signed very easy without publisher id, just use the open signed.
FAILURE: Submitted .sis file uses a UID that is not allocated to the account holder matching this email address (0×20004d7d )
Today it is not necessary to have these EXE files. You just need to make an account on symbiansigned.com and to have the original file.
Then choose online open-signing - and it’s really easy then.
FAILURE: Submitted .sis file uses a UID that is not allocated to the account holder matching this email address (0×20004d7d)
As SymbianSigned reports: “Alternatively the service will allow signing of SIS files with UIDs in the Test Range; i.e. 0xE0000000…0xEFFFFFFF”
UID needs to be changed in order to sign this app
Just tried to do the online open signing thing.
got the same error as jano.
anyone got any ideas?
thanks
there’s a signed version out
