First of all you have to Download GenialSis and Register an account from SymbianSigned.com
Download GenialSiS application and extract .rar content somewhere on your desktop
First Step
Open GenialSis.exe and enter your IMEI number
If you don’t know your IMEI press *#06# in stand-by mode
Press Generate! Button and at the end of first step you have to see “Completed!” Message
In Second Step (2) You have to enter your SymbianSigned.com Account Username (e-mail) and Password
And you will see this notice
Select genialcert.csr in your folder where you extracted
Enter Security Code Correctly and Go To Third Step (3)..
Select the .sis file that you want to sign and Click to Sign! Button
Now probably you’re done! Your unsinged application or game is signed:)

Everyone who has a problem with his email because of the error message “Your email has address has been rejected as we do not accept registrations from publicly available email domains (e.g. gmail, yahoo, hotmail etc)” you can do a new email at http://www.personlig.nu/mail/index.php?action=signup It’s a swedish website.
First you must accept by clicking “Jag accepterar” then the button “nästa”.
Then you fill in
E-mail adress:* something@ you can choose somthing by rolling for example: anna@lyckad.com - that will be your email
Lösenord:* password
Bekräfta lösenord:* password again
Namn/Förnamn:* your name.
The last is the code you see on the picture. Then you click “registrera” - FINSHED!
When you want to log in you can do it on the meny in the left by clicking “Logga in”
Then you just fill in your new email and password.

if u want to register at SymbianSigned and u don’t have a private domain, create a free email trial account at ezpzemail (ezpzemail.com) and the trial will last for about 14 days which is more than enough to get u an account at SymbianSigned

There has to be a better way, followed the instructions and kept getting server errors after verifying the security code, finally accepted and now its telling me I have “probably exceeded the amount of certificate production in 24hours”

same problem here, i guess it´s because symbiansigned assigned technical difficulties so dev-requests cannot be submitted until 18.02.

There is a bad news, “symbian signed has restricted Developer Certificate generation without a Publisher ID. So it’s not so easy now. So, can i sign an application for my N73 whose IMEI is 6406013901656 with other’s certificate. I tried but failed. Help if it is possible.

Why not take out the IMEI module from the program, thus it will always get a NULL value or “0″ generate a certificate for that and everyone could install that single signed appz.

I am one of those extremely frustrated of people who have followed what has seemed like an endless electronic paper trail which started with promises made by an unsigned application called “rotateMe 2”
Like others in this thread I have hit a brick wall when trying to sign the afore mentioned application. At the second stage of GinialSiS. I too am hit with:

I have looked for other fixes to this but without luck. A link that appears in this thread as a solution three times brings me to a site that wants £8.99 first. Obviously others are just trying to make money out of newbes like me. Suppose that’s the way its always gonna be! Therefore I’ll give it one last try….
I would be extremely grateful if you could help us find a solution to our problem. Is the reference to “publisher ID” correct?

I have done everything as per the instructions, and taking note of all the replies above, I have successfully registered with SymbianSigned and they have accepted and opened my account,but…………….
When I get to step 2, I enter my username and password,all goes well, but instead of receiving a message asking me to ‘Select genialcert.csr’ I get a warning message saying that I have ‘Exceeded the number of certificates allowed during 24hours’
Does this mean that will not work anymore? or do I have to wait 24houirs after registering with SymbianSigned before I can request a certificate?

Just an update,
I waited 24 hours, tried again. The Genialsis app create’s the .csr file but when I submit to SymbianSigned I get the same meessage - “You have exceed the numbers of files allowed within a 24 hours period”.
I’m getting the feeling that my SymbianSigned user ID has been hacked and someone is using my log-in details to create files (Then no-doubt charging people to sign their .sis files for them).
Either that or this just doesn’t work anymore.

GenialSiS, due to modifications on the SymbianSigned site, to which we referred for generating the certificates, is no longer working.
As there are now other simpler and faster ways to install non certified software on Symbian phones, I have decided to discontinue the development, as it would have been useless anyway.
