We didn’t get an update for a long time from Google Maps Mobile. But they finally released a new update!
New update is coming with “Routes” and “Public Transportation” features
This features are not supported by all cities and countries. Click here to see supported Cities and Countries
I also noticed an improvement for Search Results. It’s really faster than the older version. You’re getting them in a few miliseconds. Google Maps is working really fast with this update
I think the next version must be supported by Navigation Feature like Nokia Maps

This google maps update totaly fucked up my n95. It keeps rebooting and rebooting. i must take ti to service to check it up.
Tried to download it today, but the phone terminated the downlaod saying : “file corrupted”

I have a N95 8gb. I said ‘yes’ when prompted to upgrade google maps and it completely killed my phone. I was under warranty, but because there was evidence of past liquid damage, they dishonoured the warranty.

I did have a N95 and went to upgrade the Google Maps when prompted and it killed it completely. I couldn’t restore the phone using Backup or Nokia Software updater. The computer could not even detect the phone using the USB cord!!!
DO NOT UPGRADE WHATSOEVER!!! OR BE PREPARED TO GET A NEW PHONE.
